Power Quality Enhancement in a Grid-Integrated Photovoltaic System Using Hybrid Techniques

In recent years, the photovoltaic (PV) system was designed to supply solar power through arrays. The PV generator exhibits nonlinear voltage–current characteristics and its maximum point tracking (MPPT), which varies with temperature radiation. event of non-uniform insolation, several multiple points (MPPs) appear in power–voltage characteristic module. Thus, a hybrid combination binary particle swarm optimization (BPSO) grey wolf (GWO) is proposed herein handle MPPs. This nowhere found literature, so author chose this technique; main advantage method ability predict global MPP (GMPP) very short time maintain accurate performance, even under different environmental conditions. Moreover, 31-level multilevel inverter (MLI) lower blocking voltage process reduce complexity circuit design. entire executed MATLAB platform examine performance system, shown extract 92.930 kW. simulation design clearly showed that MLI achieved better results terms total harmonic distortion (THD) at 1.60%, less when compared existing genetic algorithm (GA) artificial neural networks (ANNs).
